A Review of our show/ Opening August 3rd!

Click here to check out Nancy Monaco's review of Title of Show and Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me!

Excerpt:

"Now lets get to Pick Me Choose Me Love Me . Although this show is still pretty raw (not in the dirty way) the talent on stage is phenomenal! These four very young performers are amazing. Art in its best form should make us have emotion and this show does just that. Based on some truth and some creative writing there are times during this show where you are not sure whether you want to laugh your butt off or get up and hug them. There may be some parts where you feel uncomfortable for them, but that is what makes this show a must see. You get an undeniable sense that they have put their heart and soul into this piece!"

Nancy came to our preview show, July 27th. We OFFICIALLY open this Sunday August 3rd.
You can purchase tickets now at www.smarttix.com !!!

There will be free WINE AND BEER to all who come this Sunday!

Our Super Hot Poster

Fundraising Letter

Dear Friends and Family,

I wanted to write to you today about an amazing opportunity that has recently come the way of myself and three of my peers. I recently graduated Eugene Lang College. For my senior work I wrote a show entitled "Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me" which in short is a youthful musical romp exploring the dysfunctional life of a young gay man and his three friends. Told through Disney songs, Goldie Hawn movies and Brokeback cowboys, "Pick Me, Choose Me, Love" is a jam packed Mtv generation look at what it means to grow up gay, to fall in love and above all, learn to allow your friends to help you through.

Last year as President and co-founder of our schools student run theatre company it was up to me to find space to perform, as it is very limited at the New School. The Richmond Shepard Theatre (www.richmondshepard.com) is a wonderful theatre I established contact with during that process. After seeing our previous work and getting to know me personally, Richmond allowed me to perform "Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me" at his theatre in May. After seeing it, he decided he loved it and that it had potential to be a hit. He has asked us to remount it starting July 27th and run it through September 14th every Sunday evening. We, as you can probably guess, were ecstatic.

Not only is this a huge opportunity for us to get a start on our careers in the entertainment industry but it is also a way for us to continue learning and growing as artists. We plan to invite agents, managers and other industry insiders to see the work, as this is a great chance for exposure and networking. My cast and colleagues include the breathtaking Mary Ann Hedderson, the brilliant Michael Lincoln and incomparable Albert Garcia. These talented people also make up our newly formed theatre company "Here We Are Everybody!" Our goal is to utilize our talents and create exciting theatre while reaching out and involving the community.

Now, this is where you come in. It is an expensive undertaking to mount a production in a short time period, but I am confident that it is going to be very successful once it opens. We are asking our family and friends to make any small donation to help meet our fundraising goal of $2,000. This money will go towards the set, costumes, props and advertising of our show. We are working on getting a tax-deductible form so that any contribution you make you will be able to write off. We are also planning on doing a fundraising party later this month to also help meet our goal.

We feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to remount our show so we brought in Off-Broadway star of "The Donkey Show" Anna Foss Wilson to direct. She is helping us re-focus and re-tool the show so it can be the best it can be. This show has allowed a lot of personal as well as professional growth for me. It showcases my writing, singing, dancing and acting skills so it could not be a better vehicle for me to begin my career on. As four struggling artists in New York City, we hope to eventually sustain ourselves through our career of choice and we feel confident we are being led in the right direction. With a small donation from you, we are one step closer to reaching our goals. It is our dream to have a successful theatre company someday and with your help, we can make it happen. And then we can fly all of you to the Tonys!

We thank you so much for your time and consideration and hope that you can come see our show in the near future. If you would like to donate please go to Donation Page and contribute now. If you don't feel comfortable donating over the internet, you can send a check to:
